Upcoming Events
4th and 11th January 2026 BoaTS Rides
Each of the Bit of a Tour Series (BoaTS) of eight rides closely follows a part of a stage of the 2026 Tour Down Under. Four of the rides were completed in late 2025, with the remaining four to be ridden in early January before the start of the TDU: two on Sundays – details below – and two on Wednesdays. For information on the Wednesday rides contact Stu Clement (stu.clement@yahoo.com). Mob 0439 311 294. Each ride is a loop or out-and-back starting and finishing usually at a café or bakery. The start and finish varies from ride to ride. Riders are expected to have with them all of the food nourishment to complete the ride. There will be several opportunities for snack pauses, toilet stops and water refills during the ride. Lunch at the completion of the ride can be purchased at the appropriate café/bakery. The BoaTS Rides vary in length from 50 to 60km and the total ascending varies from about 500 to 1,100m. The two Sunday rides are on the 4th of January 2026 and the 11th of January 2026.
