Place: Clarence Park Community Centre in the Clarence Room, corner East Avenue and Canterbury Terrace, 72/74 East Avenue, Black Forest SA 5035
Time: Thursday the 23rd of June 2022 at 7:30pm
Following on from our May meeting, here is a chance to learn a lot more about a powerful cycling mapping and tracking app and ask as many questions as you may have.
SARCC has recently purchased a Club license for the Ride With GPS app to assist the club in providing more detailed event and ride information in a consistent manner.
The June club meeting has been set aside to introduce members to creating routes in this application and how the club uses these routes to create events.
Assistance will be available to help members to create their own routes, either by using the mapping tools provided in Ride With GPS, by modifying a previously ridden ride or modifying an existing route.
Internet access for setting up the app on a member’s phone or computer is available at the venue. To participate in the “Route Creation presentation” you will need a to bring a laptop computer, with Internet access, or you can view the presentation on the big screen.
If Covid regulations allow, we will provide tea, coffee and biscuits (gold coin donation). Currently, numbers are limited to 35 people so we are not requiring you to book in.
(We are always open to members to suggest a guest speaker or topic to discuss at future meetings, this is your club.)
