We start at the Weir at 9am on Thursday others may join along the way but we will need to know where you want to connect on to the ride group. We ride the boring Northern Connector Expressway and Stuart O’Grady bike way, after 52km we then weave through Gawler town for 8km and reach the very interesting Barossa Cycleway. Morning tea probably late in Gawler, Lunch Barossa Brewery, Tanunda afternoon tea Angaston back to Nuriootpa supermarket to buy pasta etc for Evening Meal at our Accom’. https://barossatouristpark.com.au/ we have reserved a 6 berth cabin for 4 additional riders @ $40 for the night. The cabin will be base camp for all, those who prefer to bring a tent. Base camp or community Kitchen will provide us with an opportunity to enjoy a group pasta and salad meal and recharge ebike batteries. Only powered tent sites are available, but for three tents on a powered site is $15 each ($45 per site) or ensuite powered site $20 each ($60 per site). Eric intends to tow behind his ebike a “kiddy trailer” so some space for sleeping bags and tents may be available otherwise bikepack or small backpack.
