Usually 9AM start. 40 – 50 km. Gravel roads to tracks. Pace of 15 – 18 kph
Take all you need for the rides: water, food, sunscreen, grins etc as unless otherwise stated we have mid-ride snacks and lunch at the conclusion of the ride. Duration of the rides is generally about four hours.

Meet 9:30am, Visitor Centre Carpark, Tanunda (entrance off Julius St). From Tanunda south then past Bethany to Pewsey Vale, Williamstown and Lyndoch then past Chateau Yaldara and back roads to Tanunda. About 60km, 70% unpaved, 800m ascending. Lunch mid-ride.

Meet 9am Little Birdy Bakery, 59 Old Princes Hwy, Nairne. Daniel leading. From Nairne to Dawesley, Kanmantoo, towards Harrogate, then Brukunga and circling back to Nairne. About 52km, 80% unpaved, 880m ascending. Lunch at the conclusion of the ride.

Meet 9am Hansen St Carpark, Myponga. From Myponga to the Fleurieu Milk Company, Blockers Rd, Mt Beare Station, Munetta Rd, Louds Hill, Blockers Rd back to Myponga. Approx 49km; 67% unpaved; 450m ascending. Lunch at the conclusion of the ride.

Thursday 15th – Monday 19th October 2026 Gravel Grin Capers Tour: Laura
Default for rides: start at Meryle’s Café (main street of Laura) and finish at Little Blessings Brewing (Victoria St opposite the Laura Community Caravan Park).
Times: Friday 16th 1200 (allowing time for travel from Adelaide in the morning); other days 1000. Adjustments can be made on the fly depending on weather (wind and temperature especially) and what people desire.
Ride styles: Stu Clement and Laura local Wayne Gifford have put together a considerable portfolio of riding options. Gentle rides 20-35km, not too many hills and smoothish roads. Regular rides 30-70km with more bumps and gnarls. Challenging rides >70km incorporating whatever level of masochism is desired.

Meet 9am Kanmantoo General Store, 8 Old Princes Hwy, Kanmantoo. From Kanmantoo to Highland Rd and the Lavender Trail to Frahns Farm Rd then north to Bondleigh Rd and Snake Gully and Mills Rds back to Kanmantoo. About 51km, 87% unpaved, 698m ascending. Lunch at the general store at the conclusion of the ride.

Meet 9am The Gooby Goose, Valley Central Shopping Centre, Kenihans Road, Happy Valley. From the shopping centre along suburban paths to Tangari Regional Park, through Woodcroft to Bains Creek, Christie Creek then the western side of the Southern Expressway north to the O’Halloran Hill mountain bike park, then to Glenthorne National Park, Happy Valley Reservoir Reserve back to the Valley Central Shopping Centre. About 40km, at least 66% unpaved, 410m ascending. Lunch at the Gooby Goose at the conclusion of the ride.
