On Sunday the 15th of December, we had the President’s Christmas Ride followed by lunch at Oaklands Reserve. The first to arrive at 9am found our preferred spot empty, so we set up tables and chairs in readiness for our picnic lunch after the ride.

Over 20 members arrived by 10am for the President’s Ride (see my Strava feed for more details). After the ride, which finished just after noon, the BBQ was fired up and we shared salads and the odd drink. At 2:15pm it was suggested that we have a group photo taken (thanks Cameron), despite the fact that some of the members had already left!

It turned out to be a glorious sunny day with a maximum temperature in the mid-20s. (The following week had a forcast of four days over 40º.)
