Another Breath of Fresh Eyre

The Eyre Peninsula Tour

As we approach October the tour gets closer and more exciting, the dates are still 14th – 28th October and rides begin on 15th.

The accommodation is organised at each of the venues, you just need to arrive at Wudinna at the Gawler Ranges Motel Caravan Park, ( it will be on your left as you approach Wudinna when you travel from Kimba) and check in as part of the Tour Group and then I will talk to the group at 4pm with an update and introduce the people that you may not all know.

The Store in Wudinna will have food for you and we will need to carry food to Paney Station as there are no shops or Hotels to eat at out there! We are at Paney for 3 nights and then we drive to Streaky Bay where the shops will welcome our custom again. Although we can eat out each night in Streaky – if that’s your choice guys!! (Some of us will eat in!)

The cost for the trip is still approximately $260 per head for accommodation for the 2 weeks, and as I haven’t heard back from any caravanners or mobile home owners, I will assume that we will be in tents, cars or other arrangement.

At Paney we can sleep in the shearers quarters at a cost of $20 per night but I will speak with you about that next time. The tour cost will include a camp oven meal at Coodlie Park and at this stage I am only aware of one vegetarian person, – if you have allergies or special needs, please make it known to myself or Jeff.

On that count, if you need to communicate regarding the tour from Thursday until 17th September, please email Jeff Lock on   lock.jeff [at] hotmail.com

Thanks for your understanding, and I look forward to seeing everyone on 14th October,

Cheers,
Raelene
